Ken Klinner is an accomplished information technology leader with extensive experience in cybersecurity and operations management. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at the U.S. Department of the Interior since January 2016, Klinner has also held the position of Deputy Director of Operations. In addition to this role, Klinner is an Adjunct Professor at Dakota State University, teaching Cybersecurity Incident Response for the PhD and Masters Cyber Defense programs. Prior experience includes positions as CIO/CTO at the U.S. Geological Survey, Chief Data Officer and Chief Knowledge Officer in the US Army, and various management roles at General Dynamics Information Technology, SAIC, and ManTech International Corporation. Klinner holds an MBA in Global Technology from American InterContinental University.
