Leslie Shockley Beyer

Leslie Shockley Beyer serves as the Assistant Secretary for Land and Minerals Management at the U.S. Department of the Interior since July 2025. Prior to this role, Leslie held positions as an Independent Director for Forum Energy Technologies and Patterson-UTI, and served as an Advisory Board Member for Veriten and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Leslie was the Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Workforce & Technology Council from July 2014 until July 2023 and worked as an Independent Director for Natural Gas Services Group. Additionally, important earlier experiences include serving as Director of Member and Board Relations for the National Association of Manufacturers and as a Manager at Burson-Marsteller. Leslie is the Principal of GreyShockley, LLC, a strategic consulting firm. Leslie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
