Alistair Jones has an extensive background in various government departments and roles, with experience ranging from communications and strategic policy advising to economic and regulatory reform. Currently serving as the Director General at the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation, Alistair previously held positions at the Department of Treasury WA, Australian Statistics Advisory Council, Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, Department of the Premier and Cabinet of WA, and City of Cockburn. Alistair has completed Executive Education in Leading Economic Growth from Harvard University, a China Reciprocal Program from ANZSOG, a Master of Communications from Edith Cowan University, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University.
