Ben Westgarth

Ben Westgarth has held various positions in the technology sector since 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as a Software Engineer at Family and Community Services, where they conducted research and development into the suitability of J2EE and .Net frameworks, wrote C++ software components, and wrote software tools to help mine data from GIS and mapping databases. From 2005 to 2021, they held the role of Head Audio Software Engineer at NCH Software, where they led the development of a large variety of audio based software products written in C++. In 2021, they became the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Software Engineering at Department 13 | Drone Technology.

Ben Westgarth attended Canberra Grammar from 1988 to 1993. Ben then attended the University of Canberra from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Communications (Media).
