Claire Leger is a seasoned professional in the fields of archaeology and cultural heritage protection, currently serving as a Sapeur pompier volontaire expert at SDIS 31 since April 2024. In addition, Claire acts as Directrice de la réponse à l’urgence for Bouclier bleu France and has held the position of régisseur des collections at Conseil départemental de la Haute-Garonne since August 2021. As CEO of Editions Mergoil, which focuses on scientific publications in archaeology, Claire has been leading the company since August 2015. Previous roles include working as an archaeologist and conservation officer at various archaeological institutions and engaging in extensive archaeological studies with the CNRS from 2007 to 2011. Claire holds two Master 2 degrees in museum collection management and archaeological research from Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III.
