Theresa Allen has held various roles in the field of education technology. Theresa is currently the Director of Information Technology at DePaul College Prep. Prior to this, they served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of St. Francis and as the Director of Instructional Technology at the Archdiocese of Chicago. Theresa also worked as a Technology Coordinator and Teacher at the Cathedral of St. Raymond School and as a Teacher at Southwestern Schools in Wisconsin.

Theresa Allen earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Loras College, where they attended from 1988 to 1992. In 2013, they began working towards a Master of Education degree (M.Ed.) with a focus on Instructional Technology at Regis University, where they stayed until 2014. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued and completed a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational/Instructional Technology at Lewis University.
