Jason Poston, LCSW, LSATP, CSAC, CSOTP, MAC has a diverse work experience. Jason started their career in 2006 as a Supervisor/Unit Manager at Marion Youth Center. In 2008, they worked as a Clinical Social Work Intern at Virginia Dept. of Corrections. From 2009-2012, they served as a Virginia Juvenile Community Crime Control Program Coordinator at Wythe Co. Dept. of Social Services/Virginia Dept. of Juvenile Justice. Then, they worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer/Gang Specialist at Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice from 2009-2012. In 2010, they joined Heatherwood Counseling Center as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Substance Abuse Clinician. From 2012-2015, they held the position of a Licensed Mental Health and Substance Abuse Clinician and Program Manager at Community Mental Health Center. In 2014, they worked as an Executive Protection Specialist at Contract Services. In 2019, they worked as a Director of Community Based Services at DePaul Community Resources. Currently, they are serving as an Adjunct Professor at Wytheville Community College.
