Blair Janis

Blair Janis is a highly experienced development professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Development at DePaul University, having started in October 2021. In this role, Blair leads fundraising efforts for the College of Science and Health and manages a team supporting other colleges within the university. Previous positions include Director of Development at DePaul University and Program Director at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, where Blair successfully oversaw large fundraising initiatives, including the Dance Marathon program which raised $42 million in 2019. Blair has also held various roles in nonprofit organizations, including internships focused on fundraising and marketing. Blair holds a Master of Science in International Public Service and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Communication from DePaul University, along with a study abroad experience in Spatial Planning and Sustainability at the University of Groningen.
