Brian Gier

Brian Gier is an experienced technology manager currently leading the School of Music at DePaul University since November 2011, focusing on strategic planning and project management for technology implementation. Prior to this role, Brian served as a Deployment Planner and Project Manager at Northern Trust, where responsibilities included managing application certification and deployment timelines. Earlier experience as a Technical Systems Analyst at Hewitt Associates involved overseeing end-user productivity tools and strategy, while work at GE IT Solutions encompassed consulting for creative team alignment and senior technical support. Brian holds an MBA in Information Systems Management from Roosevelt University and a BS in Music with a focus on Recording Engineering and Micro-electronics Engineering from DePaul University.
