Cindy Beardsley Burns

Cindy Beardsley Burns, MNM, currently serves as the Special Assistant to the EVP/CFO at DePaul University, providing high-level administrative support and managing materials for the Board of Trustees. Previously, Cindy held positions as an Admissions Associate, Secretary of the DePaul Nonprofit Management Club, and Special Events Coordinator for the Friends of Payton, demonstrating expertise in application processing, event planning, and fundraising. Additional experience includes roles as a Development Associate at Friends of the Parks, Program Assistant at the Steans Family Foundation, and Leadership Team Coordinator for YWCA USA Project HELP. Cindy has also worked as a Writing Specialist and Project Coordinator, producing content across various sectors. Cindy holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management, a Master of Arts in American History, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, all from DePaul University.
