Jordan D. Levy

Assistant Professor Of Anthropology at DePaul University

Jordan D. Levy serves as an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at DePaul University since July 2023, contributing to the Department of Anthropology's undergraduate program by teaching courses such as ethnographic methods and senior capstone. Formerly, Jordan D. Levy was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut from August 2022 to August 2023, focusing on cultural and social anthropology, along with research on Honduran politics and migration. Prior to this, Jordan D. Levy held the position of Associate Professor of Anthropology at Pacific Lutheran University from September 2014 to August 2022, where courses addressed globalization, state power, and social justice within immigrant communities. Jordan D. Levy earned a PhD and MA in Anthropology from Western University and holds a BA in Anthropology and Spanish from Eastern Washington University, with additional studies at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
