Susan Bengtson-Price

Susan Bengtson-Price is an accomplished violist and educator with extensive experience in teaching and performance. Currently serving as Viola Faculty at Carthage College since February 2023, Bengtson-Price also holds positions as a Private Instructor and Chamber Music Coach at DePaul University and as a violist with the KAIA String Quartet. Previous roles include Suzuki Violin and Viola Teacher at Mattix Music Studio, and multiple teaching positions at Onset School of Music and Boston University, where assistance was provided in the Strings Department. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate of Musical Arts and a Master's of Music from Boston and Northwestern Universities, and a Bachelor of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music, complemented by an exchange program at The Royal Danish Academy of Music. Additionally, Bengtson-Price has performed with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and the Northbrook Symphony Orchestra.
