Steven McCarthy

Steven McCarthy is a seasoned soccer coach with extensive experience at various collegiate institutions and youth organizations. Currently serving as the Head Men's Soccer Coach at DePauw University since January 2023, McCarthy previously held similar positions at Loras College and Denison University, where responsibilities included team management, player development, and recruiting coordination. Additional roles include Director of Coaching for Sporting Columbus and Pre-Academy Director for Columbus Crew SC, focusing on curriculum development, player identification, and coaching education. McCarthy's professional playing experience includes time with Dayton Dutch Lions F.C. and Steven holds a Master's degree in Recreation and Sports Sciences from Ohio University and a Bachelor's degree in Leadership and Management from Capital University.
