John Schroeder

John Schroeder is a seasoned executive and minority founder of DEPCOM Power, where since November 2013, leadership has contributed to the company's growth as a tier 1 engineering, procurement, and construction firm in the photovoltaic industry. Additionally, John serves as Chairman of the Board for CrossWalk Lutheran Ministries. Previously, John held various significant roles at First Solar from August 2005 to November 2013, including Director of Product Development and Director of Plant Controls and Grid Integration, where oversight included the development of crucial technologies for photovoltaic power plants. Early career experience includes positions at General Electric and Total Control Products, focusing on control systems and automation. John holds an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and a BSEE from Purdue University.
