Pam Schifano is a long-time resident of Tucson as a member of a military family. After graduating high school, she began a long-time career as a legal assistant until beginning to raise her two daughters. She was then able to become active in the local community doing philanthropic work with various organizations over the years. She was very active in the Tanque Verde School PTG and Educational Enrichment Foundation while her children were in school raising funds for the children in that district. In 2007 she was asked to become a member of Angel Charity for Children. She is still an active member with that organization and is very passionate about the great work they do for their local community. Pam has also sat on the boards for Catholic Community Services and Imago Dei Middle School and has been a volunteer at both St. Joseph’s Hospital and Tucson Medical Center. As Joe Schifano’s wife, Pam has helped open the original Dependable Nurses, Inc. in 1992 and has assisted in expanding the company footprint to include Dependable Home Health and Dependable Hospice and Palliative Care. She currently is volunteering for the hospice agency. Pam is passionate about working in healthcare and with Dependable Health Services and its possibilities to serve their community with a vast and growing need.
