Umar Shaik

Umar Shaik is a Senior Software Developer at Dependbuild since May 2023. At the Association for New Canadians, Umar serves as a Project Lead for the Coding for Success and Digital Literacy programs, focusing on helping immigrants gain digital literacy and software development skills through visual game building, web development, and Python. Additionally, Umar has experience as an instructor in the same organization and has previously worked as a Senior Software Developer at Creatros Technologies Inc. from August 2019 to May 2023, and held roles as a Coach at Get Coding and a Software Developer at Metricsflow and Semanoor Software Solutions. Umar holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Memorial University, a Full Stack Web Development certification from Free Code Camp, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Matrusri Engineering College.
