Henning Labuhn has held various data science roles since 2016, starting with a position at Chauffeur-Privé. Henning then moved to Shift Technology in 2017, and then to Depixus in 2018. Prior to their data science roles, Labuhn was a PhD student at Institut d'Optique Graduate School from 2013-2016. Henning's research focused on developing and benchmarking a new approach to quantum simulation, using single neutral atoms as quantum bits (qubits). Henning also designed and implemented a method to laser-trap single atoms in holographically created, arbitrary shaped 2D geometries. Before that, Labuhn was a student assistant at the University of Heidelberg in 2012 and a student assistant at TU Braunschweig from 2009-2012. Henning also held a student employee role at GOM - Optical Measuring Techniques in 2008.
Henning Labuhn obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics from Technische Universität Braunschweig between 2006 and 2010. Henning then went on to receive a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from Heidelberg University between 2010 and 2013. Finally, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from Institut d'Optique Graduate School between 2013 and 2016.
