Andy Brinton

Andy Brinton, MBA, has extensive work experience in various leadership and strategic roles. Andy is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Business Strategy & Growth at Deployed Resources, LLC, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of DHS Programs at the same company from June 2020 to July 2022.

Before joining Deployed Resources, LLC, Andy worked at Grant Thornton Public Sector as the Director of Operations Transformation from August 2019 to June 2020. In this role, they served as a Security & Defense Sector Senior Advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various border security, defense, civilian agency acquisition, mission support, strategic planning, and organizational transformation projects/initiatives.

Andy also has a strong background in government service, particularly in the field of border security and law enforcement. Andy spent several years at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, where they held the position of Executive Director of Mission Support (SES), Office of Field Operations, from September 2016 to August 2019. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing a broad mission support portfolio for a large border security and law enforcement organization.

Additionally, Andy has held various positions at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, including Assistant Director of Field Operations from July 2005 to August 2016 and Executive Director of the Office of Strategic Integration from August 2013 to June 2014.

Prior to their government service, Andy worked at DCMA as a Contract Management Director from 2003 to 2005 and at TSA as an Assistant Federal Security Director from 2002 to 2003.

Andy's career in the field of DOD acquisition, test and evaluation, program management, and policy positions began in 1986, where they held various positions at the Department of the Army, DLA, and DCMA until 2002.

Andy Brinton, MBA has a diverse educational background, including a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Business from Saint Joseph's University. Andy also completed the Executive Leadership Program in Leadership in Law Enforcement at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Additionally, Andy graduated from the Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. Their undergraduate education was at Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration. Moreover, they also participated in the Senior Manager's in Government Program at Harvard Kennedy School.
