Nathan Jones

Nathan Jones has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Nathan currently holds the position of Senior Director of IT at Deployed Services, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Walmart Global Tech in various leadership roles. From 2020 to 2021, they served as the Sr. Director of Software Engineering within Associate Digital Experience, where they focused on building consumer-grade experiences using DevOps and Agile methodologies. Before that, they held the role of Sr. Director – Data and Technology GBS-GPA from 2017 to 2020, overseeing data platforms, engineering, quality, and governance for Walmart's people domains. Nathan was responsible for transforming data management practices and ensuring data quality across the organization. Additionally, Nathan has experience as a Senior Technical Expert in developing and piloting unmanned aerial and ground systems, as well as a Director in Walmart Technology, managing projects within governance, risk, and compliance. Nathan also worked as an ISD Manager/Senior Manager Operations, where they ensured the reliability and support reduction of various systems. Nathan's career began as a Programmer, Programmer Analyst, and Senior Programmer Analyst at Walmart Global Tech in 2001.
