Gregory S Rizzolo

Gregory S Rizzolo, PhD LCPC, serves as Editor in Chief for the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association, the leading psychoanalytic journal in the world, since January 2024. Concurrently, Rizzolo is a faculty member at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute and the Institute for Clinical Social Work, contributing to the education and training of professionals in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. Rizzolo founded Depth Counseling in 2017, which has grown to become the largest independently owned behavioral health clinic in Chicago. Since 2014, Rizzolo has been providing psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy to individuals and couples. Rizzolo's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Psychoanalytic Studies from the University of Essex, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University, and a Certificate in Psychoanalysis from the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute.
