Vanessa Baie

Vanessa Baie, MSW, LCSW is a dedicated psychotherapist with extensive experience in child welfare and mental health. Currently serving as a Psychotherapist at Volunteers of America and Depth Counseling, Vanessa has also held the position of Director of Placement Support and Foster Parent Coaching at Let It Be Us since June 2020, where responsibilities include managing targeted recruitment cases and facilitating webinars for foster home recruitment. Previously, Vanessa worked at Volunteers of America of Illinois in various roles, including Therapist, Parenting Educator, and Quality Assurance Coordinator, focusing on client-centered support and family reunification. Vanessa is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Social Work at the Institute for Clinical Social Work, having obtained an MSW with a Mental Health Concentration from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at UIC.
