Gökhan Boybek

Gökhan Boybek has a diverse range of work experience in various companies. Gökhan started their career at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 1999 as an Internet Developer, where they worked until 2006. Gökhan then joined M3W Group as a Senior Web Developer from 2006 to 2008. After that, they worked at Barem Research as a Software Specialist from 2008 to 2011. Their next role was at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Web Accessibility SME from 2011 to 2015. Currently, they hold the role of CPWA, Senior Accessibility Consultant at Deque Systems, Inc. starting from November 2015.

Gökhan Boybek has a strong education background in computer and information sciences. Gökhan completed their Bachelor of Science degree at Istanbul Technical University from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree at the University of Delaware from 1995 to 1997, specializing in Computer & Information Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Boybek has obtained several professional certifications related to accessibility. Gökhan became a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) and a Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) through The International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) in July 2019. Prior to that, in August 2018, they acquired the Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification from the same institution. Furthermore, they also attained the IAAP Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) certification in July 2019 from the IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals.
