Stephanie Woerner has a diverse work experience in the field of assistive technology and rehabilitation. Stephanie started their career at the Maryland Rehabilitation Center as a Rehabilitation Specialist in 1995, where they worked until 2004. During this time, they gained valuable experience in helping individuals with disabilities. In 1995, Stephanie also became a member of the MD Injured Workers Task Force, where they served as an Assistive Technology specialist until 2002, further enhancing their expertise in this area. Following their time at the Maryland Rehabilitation Center, Stephanie joined TecAccess in 2004 as an Assisitve Technologist, a role they continued until 2008. At TecAccess, they played a key role in providing assistive technology solutions to individuals with disabilities. Finally, Stephanie joined DeQue Systems in 2009 as an Assistive Technology Professional, where they continue to contribute their skills and knowledge in supporting people with disabilities.

Stephanie Woerner pursued their education at Fairmont State College from 1983 to 1986. Stephanie obtained a Regents degree with a major in Education during their time there. After completing their undergraduate studies, Stephanie continued their education at West Virginia University from 1986 to 1987, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
