Hossam Badr has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries and positions. Starting in 1987, they worked as a Software Developer at Al Ahram Newspaper. From 1990 to 1995, they served as an Analyst at Saudi Electricity Company. Hossam then transitioned to EDS in 1995, where they worked as a Program Manager until 2001. At the same time, they held multiple roles at ITWorx, including Strategic/Key Account Manager from 2001 to 2007, EMEA Regional Director from 2007 to 2012, and Vice President, EMEA from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they joined KnowledgeNet as the Chief Operating Officer from 2015 to 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Derayah Financial since 2016. Throughout their career, Hossam has been responsible for implementing strategies, managing operations, and driving growth in various organizations.
Hossam Badr's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Automatic Control from Ain Shams University, which they obtained from 1982 to 1987. Hossam then pursued a Management Diploma in Finance, General from The American University in Cairo from 1999 to 2001.
In 2009, Hossam attended the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for the Advanced Leadership Program in Business Administration and Management, General.
In 2016, they enrolled at the New York Institute of Finance (NYIF) to study Fundamentals of Brokerage Business Operations.
Furthermore, in May 2021, Hossam obtained the RIADAC Certificate in Blockchain and Digital Assets® from the RIA Digital Assets Council.
