Nicola Crosbie

Nicola Crosbie has extensive experience in social work, with a career spanning from 1996 to the present. Currently serving as the Acting Manager in the Fostering Recruitment and Support Team at Derby City Council since March 2016, Nicola has also held roles as a Social Worker in both the Kinship Team and Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Team at the same council. Prior to this, experience at Derbyshire County Council included positions as a Social Worker in the Disabled Children's Team and CAYA Team from May 2008 to April 2016. Early career roles included a position as a Social Worker in the Children In Need Team at Nottingham City Council and in the Children & Families Team at The City of Edinburgh Council. Nicola holds two master's degrees from The University of Edinburgh, one in Social Work and Sociology and another in Sociology.
