Nigel Glossop

Nigel Glossop has a strong background in IT and management. Nigel has held various roles throughout their career, including Head of Systems & Information at Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service since 2018. Prior to this, they worked as an IT Customer Services Manager at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and as an Interim IT Manager at Health Education England. Nigel also has experience at Northgate Public Services, South Derbyshire District Council, Philips Electronics, and Philips Components, where they held roles ranging from ICT Client Service Manager to Global Interfaces Manager.

Nigel Glossop has a diverse education history. Nigel completed their high school education at Highfields School from 1980 to 1987. Following this, they attended the Polytechnic of Wales from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Maths and Computing. Later, they pursued further education at the University of Birmingham from 2015 to 2017, earning a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Leadership.
