John Jansen

John Jansen is an experienced entrepreneur in the e-commerce and financial sectors. As the Founder and Chairman and CEO of Deribit since January 2015, John has significantly influenced the cryptocurrency derivatives market. Prior to this role, John co-founded Attrace in January 2018, and Dalvytra, UAB from September 2011 to June 2015. John also owned Jardín Sunhaus s.l.u. from January 2009 to February 2013 and Bagnomarket from May 2005 to December 2008, both focused on e-commerce. Earlier in their career, John served as a Market Maker at EDU TRADERS from April 1998 to November 1999, trading stock options on the AEX options exchange.
