Habshan Ak

Habshan AK is an IT Audit Specialist at Deriv since September 2025, with a strong background in cybersecurity and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). Previously, Habshan served as a Cybersecurity GRC Manager at Paymennt.com from May 2024 to September 2025, where efforts focused on aligning cybersecurity strategies with business objectives and implementing frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS v4. Prior experience includes the role of Senior GRC Analyst - Information Security at Network International, managing various security certifications and third-party audits, and involvement in multiple information security roles at NetSentries Technologies from January 2017 to January 2023. Habshan holds a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity from Paris American International University, expected in June 2027, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from LBS College of Engineering, Kasaragod, graduated in 2013.
