Sarah Aziziyan

Sarah Aziziyan is an experienced engineering manager and backend team lead with a solid background in software development. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager and Backend Team Lead at Deriv since February 2023, Sarah previously held the role of Backend Team Lead and Backend Developer at First Source from February 2021 to February 2023, focusing on code maintenance and feature development. Sarah began a career as a Software Developer (Full-stack) at Hooshmand Sazgan Co. from December 2014 to February 2021, contributing to the development of high-quality insurance and banking solutions in a semi-startup environment. In addition to professional experience, Sarah holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Software Engineering from Islamic Azad University and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.
