Simran Kaur

Simran Kaur has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Human Resources Intern at Nestlé in 2019. Simran then transitioned to 99 Speedmart, where they served as an Assistant Branch Manager for a brief period in 2021. Currently, Simran is working at Deriv, first as a Talent Acquisition Executive from May 2021 to September 2022 and now as the Talent Acquisition Team Lead starting in October 2022. In their current role, they collaborate closely with both tech and non-tech hiring managers, utilizes various recruitment channels, and employs hiring and interviewing methodologies to assess candidates for cultural and technical compatibility.

Simran Kaur obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) from 2016 to 2020. Simran also has additional certifications in various areas such as measuring learning effectiveness, data-driven decision-making for business professionals, talent acquisition, talent sourcing, and social media marketing foundations. Some of these certifications were obtained in 2020, while others were obtained in 2023 from LinkedIn.
