Graham's career began with a focus on sailing as a professional from 2002 to 2007, alongside experiences as a consultant and intern in private enterprise and climate change. Graham holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a B.A. in Geography from Middlebury College.
