Sarah Eddin

Sarah Eddin is a Greenfield Solar Development Engineer 1 at Deriva Energy since July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Engineering Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from January 2020 to May 2023, where responsibilities encompassed aiding professors, communicating with students, and grading assignments. Sarah also held roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Florida Atlantic University, where numerical simulations of wave energy converters were developed, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at The University of Texas at Dallas, focusing on AI systems for optimizing wind turbine blades. Additional experience includes a Natural Gas Co-op position at Piedmont Natural Gas and earlier roles as a Chemistry Grader and Computer Technician. Sarah earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and has studied Chinese Language and Literature at East China Normal University.
