Philip Dao

Philip Dao has extensive experience in the business and healthcare industries. Philip began their career in 1998 as a Staff Research Associate at the University of California, San Diego. Philip then worked as a Scientist at Akkadix Corporation in 2000 and a Project Leader/ Sr. Molecular Biologist at The Dow Chemical Company in 2001. From 2008 to 2013, they held the role of Country Director / ASEAN Franchise Director and Director - Surgical Group at Johnson&Johnson Medical Vietnam. In 2013, they became Managing Director at Johnson & Johnson (Vietnam) Co. Ltd. Philip then moved to Philips in 2014, where they were Country Director and managed both the Healthcare and Consumer Electronic businesses. In 2016, they were appointed Country Director at Medtronic, where they grew the business 25% in the first year and 32% in the second year. Most recently, they have been VP - Business Development Asia Pacific at Dermala Inc. since 2019.

Philip Dao completed their MBA in General Management from IMD in 2007, followed by a PMP in Project Management from the Project Management Institute in 2005. Philip then went on to receive a BSc in Biology from UC San Diego between 1993 and 1998. Philip also holds a Certificate in Advanced Strategic Management from IMD.
