Steven Basta

Steven Basta has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry. Steven has been a Director for VYNE Therapeutics (2020), DermBiont, Inc. (2020), Carbylan Therapeutics (2009) and RF Surgical Systems, Inc. (2013). In 2019, they became the Chairman of the Board for Viveve, Inc. Additionally, they have held the roles of Chief Executive Officer for Mahana Therapeutics (2020) and Merz Aesthetics Inc. (2002), and CEO for AlterG (2011) and Menlo Therapeutics Inc. (2015-2020).

Steven Basta received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 1988. Steven then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 1996.
