Samantha Matthews is an experienced public relations professional with a strong background in media relations and account management. Currently serving as an Account Supervisor at Derris since September 2021, Samantha has progressed through various roles, including Senior Account Executive and Account Executive. Previous experience includes working at Nike Communications, Inc. as an Account Executive and Assistant Account Executive, where key accomplishments involved securing placements in prestigious media outlets and leading press release writing. Samantha began their career in public relations as a PR Intern at KWBU 103.3 FM, creating a successful marketing campaign that significantly boosted social media engagement. A former Division I athlete at Baylor University, Samantha demonstrated leadership as a team captain and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, focusing on Business and Public Relations.
