Ashley Jones

Ashley Jones is an experienced math educator with a strong background in teaching at various academic levels. Currently a Math Teacher at Derry Area School District since August 2015, Ashley specializes in 7th Grade Pre-Algebra and utilizes the Eureka curriculum along with supplemental materials. Previous experience includes teaching 7th and 8th grade mathematics at Propel Schools and completing a teaching internship at Pittsburgh Public Schools, where Ashley focused on Geometry and Algebra for students requiring remediation. In addition, Ashley taught mathematics to underserved students during an enrichment program with Breakthrough Collaborative and provided tutoring support to high school students at Meadville Area School District. Ashley holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Allegheny College.
