Stephanie Greiner joined Des Moines University as chief development officer in 2012. She led the process of researching, designing and implementing the largest capital campaign in the University’s history, Purple & Proud – the Campaign for Des Moines University.
Previously, she served in several roles at the Iowa State University Foundation, including as assistant director of annual giving, associate director of development, director of development and senior director of development.
In 2019, Ms. Greiner was named a member of “Forty Under 40” by the Business Record and received its “Forty Under 40 Rising Young Professionals” award in 2016. Also in 2016, she was named in the inaugural “40 Under 40: Who’s Solving the Problems of Today and Tomorrow” by the Chronicle of Philanthropy.
Ms. Greiner holds a master’s degree from Iowa State University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Mid-Iowa Planned Giving Council and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
