Melissa Walker

Melissa Walker is a communications and outreach manager at Des Moines Water Works, where Melissa also serves as a public relations consultant. Melissa is a travel writer for their company, My Traveling Soul, and a yoga instructor at Power Life. Additionally, Melissa is the coordinator at Iowa Nutrient Collaborative for Public Water Supplies. With a background in journalism and media consulting, Melissa has a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Truman State University and a Dow Jones Newspaper Fund copyediting fellowship in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
