Aashir Sutar

Aashir Sutar's work experience begins with a role as a Summer Intern at AMMACHI Labs in 2014. Following that, they worked as an Interaction Design Fellow at Noora Health, where they were responsible for usability testing, prototyping, and product development of technology platforms. Aashir then joined the Indian School of Business as an Academic Associate and later as a Research Associate, supporting faculty in course preparation, grading, and teaching various business subjects. In 2018, they joined Sattva Consulting as an Associate Consultant, delivering strategic advisory, program management, and monitoring & evaluation services to CSR clients. In this role, they also managed CSR funds and designed frameworks for collective impact projects. Aashir's next position was at Grameen Foundation India, where they served as a Senior Manager and Lead for Strategic Initiatives. Aashir'sresponsibilities included leading strategic partnerships, program design, risk management, and implementation support across sectors such as digital finance, women's economic empowerment, and agriculture. Aashir also supported Grameen Impact Ventures in business planning, investor relations, partnerships, and product management. Currently, Aashir is employed at Desai & Associates as the VP and Principal for Innovative Finance.

Aashir Sutar has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineering from A D Patel Institute of Technology, CVM University. Aashir also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law from the National Law School of India University. Additionally, they have completed a PGDM in Development Studies from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India. Aashir also obtained a certification in "ëpolicy for Young Leaders" from the Center for Civil Society in October 2013. Prior to their formal education, they attended Anandalaya, though the specific degree or field of study is not mentioned.
