Mauricio Ruiz

Mauricio Ruiz has a diverse work experience in product management, implementation consulting, and technical roles. Mauricio started their career at Teknoland Mexico as a Jr. Developer, where they assisted in website development and support for various clients. Mauricio then worked at Hewlett-Packard as an IT Analyst, leading the design and development of credit applications and improving sales and credit reporting mechanisms. After that, they joined Telefonica as a Project Manager and Senior Developer, where they led a team in designing and implementing visibility and tracking portals and integrating ERP with transportation solutions. Mauricio then worked at Proeza TI as a Senior Consultant, delivering technical and business analysis solutions and supporting the product life cycle for a GPS AVL release. Currently, they are working at Descartes Systems Group as the Director of Product Management, leading product development and management efforts, developing and executing product strategies, and driving revenue growth. Throughout their career, Mauricio has demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.

Mauricio Ruiz studied Computer Science at Universidad de las Américas, A.C. from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Colegio Columbia from 1980 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained a PMP certification from Simplilearn in 2016.
