Tom Davidson

Tom Davidson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Tom is currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Descartes Systems Group since August 2021. Prior to this, from June 2018 to July 2021, they worked as the Head of Information Technology at Lyreco Benelux, responsible for ICT operations across Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

Before their time at Lyreco, Tom was the Director, co-founder, and Product Manager at Prizorgo, a startup focused on developing mobile applications for smartwatches. Tom also held the position of Enterprise mobility portfolio manager at Mobistar in 2015 and was responsible for managing a team of product managers and overseeing the development and lifecycle of fixed and mobile product lines for enterprise clients (B2B).

Tom's earlier work experience includes roles at Belgacom-Proximus, where they served as a Product Manager, Line Manager, and Enterprise Architect. Tom was responsible for managing a portfolio of products and services focusing on fixed and mobile networking solutions for the enterprise market. Additionally, they held positions as the Sr Quality and Testing Manager and IT Manager & Project Leader during their tenure at Belgacom-Proximus.

Prior to their time at Belgacom, Tom worked as an Analyst at CSC Computer Science Corporation from September 1995 to August 1997.

Tom Davidson earned a Master's degree in Applied Science - Chemical Engineering from KU Leuven in 1995. Prior to that, they attended 't College van Herentals from 1976 to 1988. In 2001, they also completed an Executive Master in Management program with a focus on CEPAC at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
