Ashton Varner (she/her)

Ashton Varner currently serves as a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Strategist for Deschutes County after a tenure as Homeless Coordinator for the County of Kauai, where responsibilities included coordinating services for the homeless population, facilitating meetings, and overseeing housing project management. Previous roles include serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA Team Leader, where team development and community outreach were key, and positions in various service and administrative capacities, such as dog/house sitting and medical reception, showcasing a diverse skill set. Ashton holds a degree in English, Journalism & Creative Writing from The University of Alabama.
