Lauren Wood, MPH, is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in health promotion and community health initiatives. Currently serving as the Drug Free Communities Coordinator at Deschutes County since September 2018, Lauren has previously held roles such as SHIP Coordinator and Health Promotion Specialist with Dakota County Public Health Department, where responsibilities included implementing health improvement programs and evaluating community health outcomes. Lauren's diverse experience also includes coordinating regional health assessments and supporting tobacco prevention efforts across multiple organizations. Lauren holds a Master of Public Health degree from Oregon State University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology/Anthropology and English from St. Olaf College.
