Nicole Mardell, AICP, is an experienced urban planner with a diverse background in comprehensive and mobility planning. Currently serving as a Senior Planner for Long Range at Deschutes County since March 2022, Nicole has previously held key positions such as Mid-Willamette Valley Regional Representative for the Department of Land Conservation and Development and Principal Planner for the City of Sisters. A strong foundation in planning began with roles at Deschutes County focusing on long range and current planning, as well as experience in the City of St. Louis Park as an Associate Planner. Major projects include the AC Hotel by Marriott PUD and Safe Routes to Schools Planning. Nicole's early experience at Northside Achievement Zone involved development research, donor outreach, and grant writing. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Studies from the University of Minnesota.
