Tania Mahood

Tania Mahood has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tania currently serves as the IT Director/CTO at Deschutes County since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Oregon State University-Cascades where they held various positions including Director of Information Technology and Assistant Director of Customer Experience. Tania also has experience as an IT Manager at Western Title & Escrow, System Administrator at The Center Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care, and Network Administrator at American Licorice Company. Tania Mahood has also owned their own PC support company called The Computer Girl, where they provided technical support and services to small businesses and home users. Tania began their career as a Senior Office Manager at Cafe of Life Chiropractic and has also held positions at Concord Communications and MediaOne. Overall, Tania Mahood has gained extensive experience and expertise in IT management, customer support, and system administration.

Tania Mahood has a solid education history, with degrees obtained from various institutions. Tania started their educational journey at Middlesex Community College in 1993, where they pursued an Associates degree in Liberal Studies. Tania continued their academic pursuits and transferred to Northern Arizona University in 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in the field of Science in 1998.

After a significant period of time, Tania decided to further their education and enrolled at Oregon State University-Cascades in 2020. Tania is currently working towards a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Organizational Leadership. This program is expected to be completed in 2024, solidifying their educational background in business management and leadership.
