Jana Hemphill

Jana Hemphill is an experienced Community Engagement Manager at the Deschutes Land Trust, where responsibilities include community outreach and fostering a conservation ethic in Central Oregon since June 2016. Prior to this role, Jana served as a Member Services Specialist at the American Cheese Society, focusing on membership management and CRM database oversight from November 2011 to September 2014. Additionally, Jana contributed to marketing efforts as a Marketing & Administration AmeriCorps*VISTA at the Teton Literacy Center and as a Public Relations Intern with Northwest Programs for the Arts. Early in the career, Jana gained valuable experience as an Athletic Communications Student Assistant Director at the University of Iowa, managing media relations for various sports programs. Jana holds a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a focus on Public Relations from the University of Iowa.
