Matthew Hendy

Matthew Hendy is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources and Health and Safety at Descon Conveyor Systems. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as the HR Manager at bmg. GLASS + ALUMINUM INC. Reporting to the Director of Operations, he was the sole Human Resource representative for the company. Before that, he worked at Shell as an HR Single Focal Point Coordinator, Onboarding Coordinator, and HR XP Candidate Coordinator. Matthew also has experience as a Recruitment Consultant at Head2Head and as a Human Resource Assistant Intern at the City of Orillia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Labour Relations from the University of Windsor, and he is currently completing a Human Resources Post Grad Certificate Program at Georgian College.
