Khalid Farooq

Khalid Farooq is a seasoned professional in payroll and fund management with extensive experience in managing payroll for large organizations. Currently serving as Lead Payroll & Fund Management at Descon since February 2022, Khalid oversees payroll operations and reporting for a workforce of 48,000 employees. Previously, from May 2010 to November 2021, Khalid held the position of Payroll Officer at Style Textile (Pvt) Ltd, where responsibilities included handling employee final settlements, compliance and internal audits, as well as managing bonuses and increments. Khalid's educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Accounting and Finance from Riphah International University and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics from UOLM.
