Tauqeer Nazim Siddiqui

Tauqeer Nazim Siddiqui has a comprehensive work experience in the field of contracts and project controls. Starting in 1992 with Muzaffargarh Thermal Power Consultants, they served as a Planning and Scheduling Engineer. Tauqeer Nazim later joined Shenzhen Energy Engineering Corporation China as a Representative for Pakistan, where they were involved in power plant rehabilitation and liaison with clients. In 2000, they joined Descon Engineering Limited as Incharge Planning for BHP Billiton's Zamzama Gas Processing Facility, handling project scheduling and contract administration. Siddiqui then took on various roles within Descon Engineering, including Deputy Manager Planning & Monitoring Corporate, Project Coordinator for OMV's Sawan Gas Field Development, and Project Controls Manager for various projects. From 2007 to 2010, they served as Project Controls Manager for FERTIL Urea Debottlenecking Project and wellhead control systems upgrade projects. Tauqeer Nazim then worked at Al Yusr Industrial Contracting Co. as Head Contracts and Planning, involved in settlements, claims preparation, and project analysis. In their most recent role at Descon, starting in 2019, Siddiqui served as Head of Contracts for Construction and Maintenance Divisions, providing advice on contracts terms, risk analysis, and negotiation strategies. Currently, they hold the position of Head Contracts EPC Division at Descon Engineering, where they advise top management on contract terms and conditions, advises operations for client communication, and reviews and mitigates risks.

Tauqeer Nazim Siddiqui obtained their Engineer's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Punjab, which they attended from 1987 to 1992. Tauqeer Nazim then pursued a Post Graduation degree in Arbitration from the University of Lucerne, completing it from 2018 to 2020. Before attending university, they completed their High School education at St. Anthony's High School Lahore from 1974 to 1983.
