Rob Flynn has worked in the software engineering field since 1996. Rob began as a Web Developer at Internet Blue Ridge, then moved on to become a Developer/Maintainer at Pidgin. In 2000, they became a Software Engineer at Difinium, developing and maintaining a universal messaging solution. In 2001, they worked as a Software Engineer at Digium. From 2002 to 2006, they were a Software Developer at SoftPro Technologies, developing software for DARPA defense contracts and creating an ajax-enabled web application. In 2010, they founded NoticeKeeper, designing and developing the SaaS application. Since 2011, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at the Described and Captioned Media Program, developing a free, Dept of Ed. funded, educational streaming video site for students who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or visually impaired.
